Carey has a diverse background in software development and information technologies (IT). Here at Infinetix, he has developed a strong interest in web and mobile UIs for custom hardware solutions developed by Infinetix for our customers. He develops hybrid mobile apps for both Android and Apple devices using the Ionic framework and the Capacitor cross-platform native runtime leveraging both Capacitor plugins and Cordova plugins. The mobile apps interface with the hardware via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and/or HTTP. He also develops web UIs for custom embedded devices with the Angular framework. He also has a strong background in ARM based embedded firmware solutions. Since coming to Infinetix in 2006, he has been a lead engineer for a multi-disciplinary development project for an environmental control system for an industry leader in produce storage systems. He has also contributes as senior software engineer on several projects developing embedded real-time solutions for the collection of metering data for a world leader in electric, gas, and water utility metering systems. The embedded solutions are developed in C/C++ on a variety of platforms including embedded Linux and other RTOS solutions like FreeRTOS, eCos, and Evolution (Lantronix). He is also an excellent resource that helps Infinetix provide unmatched expertise in clinical blood chemistry analyzer technology to market leaders in diagnostic technologies. Before coming to Infinetix, he held Network/IT Manager positions in mid-size physician practices to large healthcare systems.
